Last Friday we packed up and headed north to Virginia to the Fall Foliage Festival. My packing job wasn’t the most professional, but we made it work with beer and diaper boxes – two things we always have on hand. I had sent my tent and panels the week before with my in-laws, so we only had to worry about transporting the artwork and everything made it safely.
Friday afternoon we checked in and set-up. This is the first and last picture we took… because it proceeded to rain continuously from Friday night to Sunday night.
Other than the rain, the weekend went beyond great. I had the best time showing my most recent work to family, friends and the community. It was great to get some feedback as well and selling my work felt awesome – I was able to sell 16 of the 40 pieces I brought. Big thanks to everyone who came out to support me!
Next time, I’ll pack a poncho and try to get an actual photo of my booth.
